San Diego Police Chiefs And Sheriffs Association Endorse Bonnie Dumanis For Mayor

 

District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis was endorsed on Monday by the San Diego Police Chiefs and Sheriffs Association in her mayoral bid.

 

The organization is made up of federal, state and local law enforcement leaders in San Diego County, including a dozen police chiefs of cities around the region.

 

"You are a proven and recognized leader in the San Diego law enforcement and legal communities," association President David Bejarano, chief of the Chula Vista Police Department, said in an endorsement message to Dumanis. "Additionally, you have dedicated your professional life to public service and are representative of the many attributes which make 'America's Finest City' the safe and proud community it has become today."
